How to Display a Live Scoreboard on a TV

Display an OmniScore scoreboard on a TV by opening the Viewer page on the device connected to the screen. Keep scoring on the Owner Console or Shared Control link so the public display stays clean.

Before you start

  • Connect a laptop, mini PC, or browser-capable device to the TV or projector.
  • Create the OmniScore board and prepare team names before the event.
  • Decide who will control the score and which device they will use.

Steps

    Open the Viewer link

    Load the board Viewer page on the device connected to the TV or projector.

    Make the browser full screen

    Hide browser chrome where possible so the scoreboard fills the display cleanly.

    Open controls elsewhere

    Use the Owner Console or Shared Control link on a private scoring device.

    Test live updates

    Change the score before the event and confirm the TV updates immediately.
